月亮是外國的圓
同朋友和他們的孫兒去玩具反斗城參觀選購,
看見店內所有大小朋友們都非常雀躍,
不知行了多久?
總之大人們已感疲累,
而小孩們仍毫無倦容不斷地看,
朋友孫兒終於找到心儀玩具了,
排隊付款時看到前面一現象。
有人帶著孩子拎著一盒火車及路軌套裝,
說路軌初時沒問題但越來越連接不上,
職員立即應允換過另一盒給他們,
但孩子說這玩具已玩厭了想要另一樣。
於是職員請他們將舊的就此暫放和入去揀選另一心頭愛,
並說如果價錢一樣便免費退回舊的取新的,
假如不一樣就照補差額,
假如少過舊的價錢就請他們買多些少”濕星野”。
這樣的服務我諗現今已是絕無僅有,
細聲問那人士
這件玩具買了多久,
答案是
差不多三個月啊!
不禁令我回想上篇網誌所講,
香港郵政局連別人買錯了面額的郵票也不肯換相同價值的郵票,
一間外資玩具店竟然可以對我們的香港人如此看待,
怎教我不大大聲聲地說”月亮的確是外國圓”呢?!
The return policy over here is indeed very generous. Some people obviously use the item for a while and then return it. Even clothing, they wear it, keep the invoice, then put the price tag back and return it. No question asked at all. Sometimes they would stil take it back without an invoice. Trees and plants can also be returned. Often times, people return dead plants and trees. Still, no questions asked and you get full refund.
ReplyDeleteWe could exchange the big valued stamps to small valued ones when we were still British Colony Citizens.
DeleteI don't know when this has changed. However, I must say that change is from good to bad. On the other hand, it is really ridiculous that the staff has told me on the phone about the exchanging being in effect.
