近日天氣酷熱濕度又高，
靜坐著也不停出汗，
悶熱程度令我覺得好像生病，
所以如無必要我都甚少留在家中，
我要去一個令我開心舒暢的地方！
由於天氣濕熱很多生物都不會把自己藏在隱蔽的地方，
只要有一小粒沙糖或一滴豉油已經很容易把成群螞蟻引出來，
睇見不禁毛骨悚然！
回想過來好像今年的螞蟻特別多，
當清理時卻發覺有一少撮螞蟻雞咁腳爬回牆邊的小洞內，
原來那兒是它們的居所，
急不及待用白英泥把可見的小洞堵塞過來，
可是一間屋太多角落有小洞，
想堵塞也不能完全做得到囉，
塞了一處它們又從別處爬出來，
激死我啊！
Ants and roaches are very annoying. I remember back in HK, if I went into the kitchen in the middle of the night, the moment I turned on the lights, I always saw some roaches.
ReplyDeleteOver here, I have never seen a roach in my house. I believe it's because we have termite treatment outside, around the house once every 8 years or so. They would drill holes about 1 foot apart, several feet deep, and pour some kind of liquid into the holes. I believe that's why there are no termites, roaches, etc.
I have heard many times from the aged people that rats and insects, etc should not be driven away or killed as they might be protective to your houses. If they leave automatically without any bad treatment to them, there must be certain kinds or danger in those houses. I don't know if it is true but I dare not keep this message away from my mind.
